Amsterdam, Netherlands, May 6th, 2015 – Roamler, Europe’s market leader in delivering crowd sourced retail insights, announced today that it has joined forces with leading retail solutions company, Smollan, with the objective of further accelerating their growth internationally. Smollan has acquired a minority shareholding in the Dutch founded business, which will complement their further growth and expansion internationally. With new CEO, Jeroen ten Haave, at the helm, Roamler are looking towards an exciting new chapter in the Dutch founded company’s history.
Founded by Martijn Nijhuis and Wiggert de Haan in 2011, Roamler has established a footprint in 11 countries in Europe and 3 countries in Latin America. Newly appointed CEO, Jeroen ten Haave said of the partnership, “We see a lot of opportunities in other territories internationally. We are very excited to work closely with our new investor, Smollan. Jeroen ten Haave was previously the co-founder of Unamic/HCN, that was sold to Xerox in 2011. Ten Haave thereafter, served as interim CEO of Oxxio (the number 4 utility company of the Netherlands).
